Amazon Business Ungate Method

Overview

Using an Amazon Business account is one of the absolute best ways to ungate brands. To do this we'll first need to create a business account!

Creating Your Business Account

First things first, click HERE to sign up for an Amazon Business Account. It's important that you DO NOT add Prime to this new account, as it can cause issues with ungating.

It's important when creating your account that your name and address FULLY MATCH your Amazon Seller account, as they are required to match when ungating new brands.

Finding Products for Ungating

First, find the item that matches the brand you want to ungate. Be sure when finding your item, that the seller is listed as "Amazon.com Services LLC", as this heavily helps when Amazon is reviewing your ungate. As usual, you will need to buy 10 quantity; If this is not an option you will need to find another listing.

As mentioned earlier, be sure your name and address match your seller account, then proceed.

Example: User wants to be ungated with Nike, so they found a listing that allows you to buy 10 pairs of Nike socks.

Example ASIN is B075HZKHJC

It's important to understand that finding a profitable item is NOT the goal with ungating. Flipping items at a loss/break-even is expected with ungating NOTE: It is advised to NEVER return any items that have been used for ungating. Amazon is highly against this, goes against their intentions and can put your account at risk.

Applying for Ungating

Once your order has shipped, head over to your Amazon order page, and download the invoice for your order. We recommend naming the file in a specific way relating to the brand. For example if the ungate is for Nike, title the file "NIKE INVOICE". We have noticed positive results using this method.

That's it! 🥳 You've successfully utilized your Amazon Business account for ungating. We recommend doing this as often as possible to take advantage of one of the absolute best ungating methods while it is available.
