When selling on Amazon, there are two options: FBM, and FBA.
When using FBM, the seller is responsible for storing and shipping the products they sell on Amazon themselves, rather than using Amazon's fulfillment services. This means that the seller maintains control over their inventory and can potentially save money on storage and fulfillment fees, but also assumes the responsibility for ensuring that orders are shipped in a timely and accurate manner. Deciding to use FBM can sometimes come down to the specific item you're selling.
As the name implies, this means that Amazon handles all your orders, shipments, and returns. You simply send your products to the Amazon warehouse in bulk, and they handle the rest. This means that sellers can focus on sourcing and marketing their products while Amazon handles the logistics of order fulfillment. FBA also offers additional benefits such as access to Amazon Prime customers, higher visibility for products, and the ability to participate in Amazon's global fulfillment network. Many sellers lean towards one or the other, however both FBM/FBA are highly valuable, and both can easily be done.
