Verifying If A Retailer Is Legit

Is a retailer running a really good deal but you’re not sure if it’s legit? I’ll tell you how you can verify this. There are a few different ways I will use to determine if a site is legitimate.

1. Cashback Sites

  • If TopCashBack or Rakuten have cashback for the site, chances are it is legit and safe to buy from. This means that cashback sites have worked with the site before. They typically verify websites prior to establishing a relationship with them.

  1. Trustpilot + Scamadviser

Scamadviser- this site will give a score based on a number of factors where the retailer is legit or not

Trust Pilot - Same thing just another site I use.

BBB ORG is another great site to learn if a retailer is accredited or not.

  1. Insane Discounts

If everything on a site is on sale for 50% off or something ridiculous, chances are it’s a scam

  1. ** Website**

It’s fairly easy to tell if a website is legit or not from the look of it. If it looks like a 10 year old put it together, it’s probably not legit.

  1. ** Store Address**

  • If a site has physical stores, look up the address and make sure it’s a storefront that matches the name of the site!

Note: Be careful out there folks. Lot of scams out there
