Avoid Cancellations
Order cancellations are extremely common when buying from retailers online. Oftentimes, a retailer may temporarily block you from ordering more from their site. This will tend to happen when you are buying large quantities of the same items. Luckily for you, the next few slides will walk you through how to get around these order cancellations and push your orders through! Below are the various methods that will help prevent order cancellations:
Catchall Email
Address Manipulation
Various Payment Methods
Privacy VCC
VPN/Incognito
Customer Service
Catchall
An extremely easy way to get around order cancellations is to set up a catchall email. What is a catchall email?
A catchall email is an email account that will automatically
redirect all emails to a main email address. Lets say your email is FBAseller@gmail.com and this is your main email address. By adding"+1" to the end of your email, it will register in the retailers system as a new email address/new user, however all emails that go to the new catchall email will be redirected to your main email.
Steps:
Add +(any number) to your main email address (FBAseller+1@gmail.com)
Make a new account with the catchall email on the retail site(FBAseller+1@gmail.com)
Thats it! All emails sent to FBAseller+1@gmail.com (catchall) will automatically redirect to
FBAseller@gmail.com (main email)
You can do this repeatedly (ex +1, +2, +3)
Address Manipulation
Another method you can utilize is manipulating your address. Adding/modifying the shipping address can help to bypass a retailers system. There are multiple ways to change/modify an address and still have the items show up to your actual address.
Lets say your address is 1625 Argonne Street Mount Rollens, Delaware 19403
Here are some things you can do:
Abbreviate "Street" (1625 Argonne St.)
Add an apartment number in the 2nd address line or "room #" - this will not change the address (1625 Argonne Street, Room B/Apartment #1)
Abbreviate "Mount" (Mt. Rollens, Delaware)
Add full 9 digit zip code (19403-1302)
Payment Methods
Using different payment methods when making multiple purchases a day on the same retailers site is a great way to avoid cancellations. Many sites offer Paypal, Credit Card Payment, Debit Card, Gift Card, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, etc.
Privacy VCC
Using a Privacy Virtual Credit Card (VCC) is another form of payment. Privacy is a free online service that allows you to create virtual credit cards with either a maximum limit or for a one time use. You simply create a virtual card and check out on a retail site using that new card. You can put any billing address you want as it is a virtual card that does not truly exist. All you need to do is create a free account on their website down below (click image) and link your banking info. The retailer will charge the virtual card you enter and Privacy will charge your bank info for the same amount. It is completely safe and free.
VPN / Incognito
All you need to do is add the extension to chrome, turn it on and try checking out. You can also use an incognito tab without the extension and see if that works. I have had plenty of success with both.
Customer Service
Still getting cancelled after using the above methods?
Contact customer service. Call them on the phone or hop in a live chat with them and explain that your order is getting cancelled for no specific reason.
Be nice and outgoing. Many times they will help you place the order and sometimes even give you a promo code to use!
