Creating an LLC

Introduction

Formation agents are key in order to create your company in the United States. A formation agent is a company that creates other companies on behalf of clients around the world. The process to quick start your business is rather easy and cheap. Most companies that offer such services also offer other services that can be great to have such as a registered agent.

A registered agent is a individual or a company that will be the LLC's or corporation's official point of contact in the state to receive service of process, other legal documents, and official communications from the state, and forward these documents and communications to the LLC or corporation which it is acting as registered agent. Your registered agent will be receiving all your mail and will be forwarding those documents to you through mail.

If your formation agent gives you the option to get the EIN and ITIN numbers, it's suggested to go for it. It will speed up the process. However, later on in the Gitbook there will be spoken about it again oon how to do it yourself.
