Overcoming cancelled orders
Most people come across plenty of cancelled orders when starting in the United States. Here are a few tips to help you reduce the amount of cancelled orders:
Change the billing address of the cards on Mercury to the shipping address of your prep centre. When checking out on a website it generally asks for both your shipping address and billing address, and it does not match, orders get automatically cancelled. You can do this in your Settings -> Company Profile -> Company Legal Address
Retailers also try to match your IP to your billing region so your IP should match the region you are purchasing in, the United States. You can do this by getting a VPN such as ExpressVPN or NordVPN.
Create a Paypal account. The settings when it comes to cancellation are generally way more sensitive with card payments. By using PayPal you will see that way more orders will go through.
You will certainly still get cancelled orders, it's all about how you handle them after making sure you have implemented the previous few tips. It's all about mailing or calling the supplier to see why your order was cancelled. By doing that most of them will be able to tell you what went wrong. Some will tell you you are unable to order, others will tell you what went wrong so you can order again and fix it to have the order go through.
